Bond Management Partners LLC is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support the orthodontist in delivering high-quality oral care and to work independently to create an exceptional patient experience. The role involves assisting during procedures, preparing patients, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining records in a fast-paced orthodontic setting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including installing braces, adjusting wires, and placing aligners.
• Prepare and sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Fabricate and fit orthodontic appliances, such as retainers and space maintainers, under the orthodontist's direction.
• Remove braces, wires, and bands as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment progress.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques specific to orthodontic care.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in each operatory.
• Prepare tray setups for orthodontic procedures and ensure proper supply management.
• Instruct patients on general oral health care, as directed by the orthodontist.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, and Dental Board requirements.
• Record patient charting and update records as needed.
• Take digital x-rays for treatment assessment.
• Assist in managing and maintaining the orthodontic supply inventory.
• Stay current with advancements in orthodontics and maintain required certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
