Job summary

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Albuquerque, NM seeks an Orthodontic Assistant to deliver efficient, high-quality care under the Lead Orthodontic Assistant. You will assist the orthodontist, document medical history in the EHR, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for patients and families.

The role offers a pay range of $17-$25 per hour with a bonus opportunity, and benefits including PTO, holidays, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Radiology education and state requirements.
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor and ability to actively listen to patients and parents.
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of eCW is a plus.
• Previous dental office experience preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthodontist with excellent chair-side assistance by fitting bands, setting up bonding, placing archwires, delivering appliances, and removing braces in a timely manner.
• Collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for patients and their families.
• Ensure the practice is clean and presentable to patients (restrooms, lobby, cleaning, etc.).
• Participate in other duties that support high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Albuquerque, NM are currently seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient, high-quality care to our patients. This position will report to the Lead Orthodontic Assistant.

Pay range: $17-$25/hr (AND BONUS OPPORTUNITY)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide orthodontist with excellent chair-side assistance by fitting orthodontic bands, setting up bonding, placing archwires, delivering appliances, and removing braces in a timely manner
• Collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) system
• Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for our patients and their families
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Minimum Qualifications

• Radiology education and training that meets state requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parents
• Ability to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely manner
• Knowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plus
• Previous experience working in a dental office preferred
• Current BLS CPR certification
