Birmingham Orthodontics in Alabama is seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will assist the Orthodontist with exams and treatments, prepare operatories, and help ensure comfortable, efficient visits for each patient.

With experience in orthodontic/dental assisting and familiarity with appliances, you will contribute to digital scans, appliance fabrication, and recording detailed notes.

Qualifications

• Experience in orthodontic or dental assisting.
• Familiarity with orthodontic appliances, procedures, and terminology.
• Strong patient care and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Orthodontist during exams and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and smooth procedures.
• Prepare operatories, sterilize equipment, and support clinical workflows.
• Record treatment notes accurately and collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care to ensure they are informed.
