Job summary

A pediatric dental practice in Winston-Salem is seeking an enthusiastic Orthodontic Assistant to join their team. Qualifications

• CDA or RDA required, X-RAY certification preferred.
• Must have DA certification.

Responsibilities

• Work chair-side with Orthodontist and perform patient care.
• Prepare and take patient molds.
• Change out rubber bands, wires, and brackets.
• Adjust fit of clear aligners such as Invisalign.
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Provide post-treatment instructions for oral care.
