Busby & Webb Orthodontics in North Carolina seeks an Orthodontic Assistant II to join a growing team across Albemarle, Salisbury and Statesville. You will assist with placing and removing appliances, take full records and support patient flow under the Orthodontist.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year orthodontic experience or six months as Smile Doctor’s Orthodontic Clinician.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances and taking full records under supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes to schedules.
• Administer remote monitoring dashboard including triage of patient scans and messages.
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory following protocols.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Support local store marketing and community events.

Team members work in all 3 locations, Albemarle, Salisbury and Statesville.How you’ll make us better:Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records under supervision of the OrthodontistPerform accurate and efficient procedures to maintain the schedule and patient flowReview patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe doctor notesPerform laboratory procedures under supervision of an OrthodontistAssist the Point with performing final checks on patients and leading patient flowAdminister the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, respond to direct patient messages, and triage notificationsEducate the patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoringClean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and operatory following standard protocolsAssist in Local Store Marketing and community eventsAdhere to all infection-control policies and protocolsYour special skills:We’re proud of our company culture and heritage of awesomeness.
