Job summary

Orthodontic Experts Management LLC is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our Arlington Heights team. You will support the orthodontist in chair-side procedures, prepare patients, and help with lab work and imaging.

Responsibilities include assisting during treatments, maintaining records, educating patients, and ensuring infection control. Travel to nearby clinics may be required; Saturday availability is needed, with pay ranging from 20 to 24 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Orthodontic assisting experience required.
• Proficient communication and organization.
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask.
• Availability on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatments, including cleaning, X-Rays, and impressions.
• Examine mouths and note irregularities.
• Assist orthodontist during procedures and adjust braces.
• Manage patient records and update charts.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and care.
• Sterilize instruments before and after use.
• Follow infection control protocols.
• Perform aligner procedures: attachments and scans.
• Handle bonding on arches and retainers.
• Perform debonding and rebonding as needed.
• Use digital scanners for records and scans.
• Prepare and deliver appliances and expanders.
• Travel to sister clinics and perform administrative tasks when needed.
• Participate in marketing events and other duties.
