Southern Orthodontic Partners is hiring an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant to join our Houston area practices. This full-time role focuses on chairside assisting, patient education, and delivering outstanding patient experiences in a fast-paced orthodontic environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant.
• RDA or CDA certification preferred.
• Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures.
• Take X-rays, scans, impressions, and patient progress photos.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR.
• Coordinate with clinical and front office teams; cross-train as needed.
