Job summary

ORTHODONTIC SPECIALISTS OF GREEN BAY, LTD is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to support our orthodontists and clinical team in delivering exceptional patient care in a modern practice in Wisconsin.

You will assist with procedures, operate advanced orthodontic technology, and help educate patients while maintaining precise records in a patient-first environment.

Qualifications

• No orthodontic experience required; training provided for motivated individuals.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage patient records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a range of orthodontic procedures and modalities.
• Utilize technology including 3D imaging, intraoral scanning, SureSmile and OrthoPulse.
• Bond brackets, place archwires, and cement appliances.
• Maintain accurate patient records and educate patients about treatment plans and oral hygiene.
• Adhere to sterilization, infection-control and HIPAA guidelines.

What You'll Do

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you'll work closely with our orthodontists and clinical team to deliver outstanding patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with a variety of orthodontic procedures and treatment modalities
• Utilizing cutting-edge technology, including:
• 3D imaging
• Intraoral scanning
• SureSmile
• OrthoPulse
• Performing indirect and direct bracket bonding
• Placing archwires and orthodontic attachments
• Cementing orthodontic appliances
• Assisting with the placement of Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs)
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
• Educating patients and parents about treatment plans and oral hygiene
• Following sterilization, infection-control, and safety protocols
• Protecting patient privacy through strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines
