Job summary

McCormick Orthodontics in Oxford, PA, is seeking a motivated orthodontic assistant to join a fast-paced, patient-centered team. You will assist orthodontists chairside, prepare rooms and materials, take digital scans, and help educate families on care and aftercare.

• X-ray certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist our orthodontists with chairside clinical procedures, including placing and adjusting braces, archwires, and orthodontic appliances.
• Prepare patients, treatment areas, instruments, and equipment for appointments.
• Take digital scans and assist with orthodontic records and documentation.
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with doctors and team members.
• Follow infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient clinical environment.
• Support patient flow to ensure a positive experience at every visit.
• Collaborate with clinical and laboratory team members to support daily operations.
