North American Dental Group is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our Amherst, NY practice. The role supports clinicians, prepares patients for treatment, and helps manage materials and equipment for efficient care.

Qualifikationen

• 0-2 years of experience in dental assisting or related role.
• CPR certification is required.
• Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.

Aufgaben

• Provide excellent chair-side clinical support and assist doctors with charting, operatory setup/clean up, and patient education.
• Record and review patient health history, make chart entries under the doctor's direction, and ensure forms and signatures are completed in dental software.
• Enter and update patient treatment plans as directed by the treating doctor.
• Assist with wire/bracket adjustments, take impressions, scans, and prepare teeth for bonding.
• Prepare treatment estimates for review and discussion with patients.
• Review daily schedule to set up trays and instruments.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, prepare instrument trays, maintain asepsis, and assist during procedures per OSHA guidelines.
