Job summary

Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to support residents, faculty and students in the Graduate Orthodontic Clinic and related clinics.

The role involves four-handed dentistry, bracket placements, x-ray imaging, and front desk support. Eligible candidates have at least 1 year of orthodontic experience, PA radiology certification, CPR, and a dental assisting certificate.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of orthodontic dental assisting experience.
• Dental Assisting certificate from an accredited school and PA radiology credential.
• CPR certification required for emergency readiness.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and instruments.
• Maintain logs for equipment maintenance and safety logs.
• Assist with front desk duties when needed, including scheduling and patient check-in.
• Take digital X-Rays and manage patient flow within the clinic.
• Provide four-handed chair-side assistance during procedures.
