Job summary

Southern Orthodontic Partners in Missouri is hiring an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant for a full-time position. You will support chairside procedures, help place and adjust braces, and contribute to patient education while delivering friendly, efficient care for every smile.

Expect to take X-rays and scans, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain accurate EMR records. The role also requires teamwork with clinical and front-office staff; 1–2 years of experience and

• RDA or CDA certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures.
• Place, adjust, and remove braces, brackets, and bands (as directed).
• Take X-rays, scans, impressions, and patient progress photos.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR.
• Coordinate with clinical and front office teams; cross-train as needed.

We are hiring an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant to join our growing orthodontic practice. This is a full-time dental assisting position ideal for someone who enjoys chairside assisting, patient education, and working in a fast-paced orthodontic environment.

What You’ll Do

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the day
• Manual dexterity required
