Children’s Dental FunZone in Beverly Hills is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant or RDA with ortho experience for a part-time role. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for pediatric patients in a clinical setting.
• Licensed OA/RDA per Dental Board requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Familiarity with dental terms and equipment helpful.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize instruments and set up trays to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain and test equipment such as sterilizers and x-ray devices.
• Pour models and perform basic lab procedures.
• Document exam findings and patient records accurately.
• Keep operatory and lab clean, organized, and stocked.
• Collaborate with the dental team on preventive activities.

Job Duties

• Perform the following tasks to ensure efficiency: clean, sterilize instruments and set up trays.
• Maintain and test equipment (sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, x-ray processor, etc.)
• Effectively pour models and conduct other lab procedures.
• Perform charting activities and document exam findings in the patient records.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and well-stocked operatory and laboratory.
• Work in conjunction with Staff Dentists/Dental team to develop and implement preventive dental activities for the community
