We are seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to support our mission by delivering excellent dental care and creating memorable patient experiences. Be part of a team that values teamwork and patient care. Your opportunities include:

• Participating in community events like school screenings and presentations to promote a positive image
• Engaging in morning huddles and recognizing team members' contributions
• Working with children, who comprise over 70% of our patients

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, compassionate care to patients
• Guide parents and patients through treatment processes
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
• Take and record x-rays and facial photos
• Ensure operational readiness of the clinic
• Prepare tray setups and handle materials like amalgam and impression compounds
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and rooms
• Assist dental staff during procedures
• Document patient information and treatment plans
• Fabricate and manage impression materials and trays
• Adhere to all regulations, standards, and compliance programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Orthodontic or Dental Assistant Certification (state-dependent)
• At least 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
• Strong customer service focus
• Enjoy working with children
• Demonstrate compassion, integrity, and dependability
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner
