Elizabeth Blake Orthodontics in Hopkinton, MA is seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Dental Assistant for a full-time on-site role. You will work with cutting-edge technology, assist during procedures, capture x‑rays and scans, and educate patients on care of appliances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience (required).
• CPR certification (required).
• Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during a variety of procedures, including banding, debanding, placing/removing arch wires, and Invisalign attachment placement.
• Take digital dental x-rays, iTero scans, IO and EO photographs, and make Essix retainers and separators.
• Deliver and instruct patients on the use and care of orthodontic appliances.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide post-treatment care instructions.
• Maintain accurate, paperless patient records (Dolphin Management) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize 3D scanners and X-ray equipment to capture precise patient data.
• Support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care and a welcoming environment.
• Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front office/admin duties as needed.

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM
• Friday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Requirements

• License & Certification: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Minimum 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience (required)
• CPR certification (required)
• Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork abilities
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and enthusiastic about professional development

Preferences

• License & Certification: Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
• Certified Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant credentials (preferred)
• Experience with Invisalign, iTero scanner, and making Essix retainers (preferred)
• Strong documentation and computer skills; experience with Dolphin Management software (a plus)
