Job summary

Salt Dental Partners is seeking a dedicated orthodontic assistant to support patients throughout their visits. You will greet patients, assist with radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos, and help prepare and sterilize treatment areas.

In this role, you’ll document orthodontic care, assist the orthodontist, and perform routine orthodontic duties such as adjusting gear. The ideal candidate has 6+ months of orthodontic assistant experience, is licensed/registered as required by the state,

Qualifications

• Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state.
• 6+ months of experience as an orthodontic assistant.
• CODA-accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Proficiency fitting bands and brackets, tying arch wires, and taking impressions.
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
