Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center, a flagship Atrium Health facility in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Registered Nurse for our 11B unit providing 24-hour patient care to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The RN will utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care and will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve quality and safety outcomes.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited nursing program, holds an active RN license, and maintains BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to coordinate patient care in a fast-paced unit.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care per standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice and clinical decision making, communicate effectively while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
