Job summary

Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for the Ortho Trauma General Surgery Unit on the night shift. The 32-bed unit provides telemetry and care for orthopedic, ortho-spine, trauma and general surgery patients.

Qualifications

• Maryland CNA certification required

• One year of clinical experience in home care, outpatient, acute care, or hospital setting preferred
• BLS CPR certification required (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network)

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
• Support orthopedic, ortho-spine, trauma, and general surgery care under supervision
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and comfort measures
