Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician for the Weinberg 4AB unit (36-bed oncology). The role requires CNA certification in Maryland, a high school diploma, BLS CPR, and at least one year of clinical experience; night shift schedule on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
• One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit.
• BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as a contributing member of the health care team in a 36-bed oncology unit.
• Work on the Weinberg 4AB unit to support adult oncology patients.
• Participate in ongoing education to ensure certification and scope of practice standards.
