Dignity Health Medical Group is seeking an Orthopedic - Trauma NP/PA to deliver comprehensive care from admission through recovery to optimize surgical outcomes and quality of life.

You will drive patient management, perform first assist in complex surgeries, and coordinate with trauma teams to ensure timely consultations and effective treatment plans in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

  • PA-C degree with AZ Board license and NCCPA certification.
  • Valid DEA registration and credentialing eligibility for medical staff.
  • NP qualifications include MSN, AZ RN license, AZ APRN license, and NP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Drive orthopedic patient management and surgical support.
  • Perform first assist in complex orthopedic surgeries.
  • Conduct inpatient rounds and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
  • Provide timely ER consultations and accurate diagnoses.
  • Manage diagnostic testing and medication administration.

As our Orthopedic - Trauma NP/PA, you will help orthopedic patients receive comprehensive, expert care from admission through recovery so they can achieve optimal surgical outcomes and improved quality of life.

In this pivotal role, you will drive orthopedic patient management and surgical support. You will be expected to perform first assistance in complex orthopedic surgeries, conduct inpatient rounds, coordinate interdisciplinary care with medical and trauma teams, and provide timely consultations for ER patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Additionally, you'll manage diagnostic testing, medication administration, and actively contribute to quality assurance initiatives within our dynamic multidisciplinary environment.

To be successful in this role, you must possess proven experience in orthopedic patient management, surgical first assist capabilities, and a strong collaborative spirit to excel within a fast-paced trauma setting. Your expertise in diagnosing, treating, and coordinating comprehensive orthopedic care will be crucial for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
