Dignity Health Medical Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Orthopedic Total Joint Advanced Practitioner (PA-C) to lead inpatient and outpatient care within our orthopedic team, focusing on elective total joints.

You will work in an environment spanning preoperative to postoperative stages, travel between Chandler and Phoenix, assist in the OR and ambulatory clinics, and collaborate with an adult reconstruction physician to deliver patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

  • PA-C degree and licensure in Arizona.
  • Graduation from accredited PA program.
  • Active or eligible AZ license and NCCPA certification.
  • Valid DEA registration.
  • Credentialing for medical staff.
  • 3+ years Total Joint/Elective experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care across preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative phases.
  • Travel between Chandler and Phoenix to support clinical operations.
  • Assist in the OR and ambulatory clinic settings.
  • Collaborate with an adult reconstruction physician to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Engage in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Orthopedic Total Joint Advanced Practitioner, you will be a pivotal asset in acute care patient management, delivering comprehensive orthopedic support in a dynamic Phoenix, Arizona environment. Focused on elective total joints, you'll leverage your expertise as either a Physician Assistant to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role is perfect for a highly motivated healthcare professional seeking an impactful position within an orthopedic team.

Every day you will drive inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care, spanning preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative phases. The position involves:

  • This position requires travel between Chandler and Phoenix.
  • Involves working in the hospital setting assisting in the OR as well as working in the ambulatory setting holding clinic
  • Works alongside 1 adult reconstruction physician

To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong foundation in orthopedic total joints, demonstrating proficiency in medication administration, physical therapy prescriptions, and actively participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. Your ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team and provide patient-centered care will be essential. Job Requirements

Required

PA

  • Degree as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Must hold and maintain: a.) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant
  • Valid DEA registration
  • Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff.
  • 3+ years Total Joint/ Elective experience.
