Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date is required.
• NBSTSA or NCCT surgical tech credential within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• High school diploma with surgical technologist program/clinical component OR minimum 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile drapes, sterile solutions, and appropriate instruments and supplies.
• Hand required/requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor/track instrument counts throughout procedures.
