Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a registered nurse for the AMG Southern Lakes - Surgery: Orthopedics department in Wisconsin. The role supports patient care across the continuum, with emphasis on evidence-based practice and safety.

The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 0700–1700, totaling 36 hours per week across Southern Lakes and Lake Geneva locations. The ideal candidate holds a BSN or is a graduate of a Board of Nursing approved program, with 1 year of clinical nursing experience and a valid RN

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license in the state(s) where practicing.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans.
• Uphold a culture of safety and ensure proper documentation in EHR.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Float to other units as needed.
