• Provides direct patient care during the intraoperative phase of surgery and endoscopic procedures.
• Coordinates total patient care with the health care team.
• Advocates for patients and upholds patient rights.
• Acts as liaison among physicians, staff, patients and families to ensure safe flow of care.
