Job summary

Kadlec Regional Medical Center in the Tri‑Cities, WA, seeks a perioperative nurse to provide direct patient care through pre- and post-operative phases. You will use the nursing process to deliver comprehensive peri-operative care and coordinate care with the health care team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care through pre- and post-operative phases of surgical care.
• Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive peri-operative care.
• Coordinate total patient care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Act as patient advocate consistent with the Patients' Bill of Rights.
• Serve as liaison between physicians, staff, patients and families to ensure safe, effective care flow.
