Job summary

Mercy in Edmond, OK seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate care with other departments. You will be accountable for the quality of care delivered and support professional standards across the team.

The role requires graduation from an approved nursing program and an active RN license in Oklahoma (or compact).

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing and obtain/maintain RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Certifications listed may be required based on position/unit and may need to be obtained within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
