Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for our Operating Room. This role supports care for patients undergoing operative procedures, under supervision of the OR Coordinator and Director, and includes guidance to non-licensed staff.

Requirements include a Texas RN license, active CPR/ACLS, and two OR cases experience with ortho/spine focus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a sign-on bonus to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas Nursing License.
• Current CPR and ACLS certification; PALS preferred.
• Minimum of two OR experience; ortho/spine experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Knowledge of OR nursing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Nursing activities related to care of patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures.
• Serve as a resource to non-licensed personnel.
• Care for adult patients including geriatric and some pediatric patients.
• Follow performance criteria and age-specific competency standards.
