Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington, TX, is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The OR Circulator supports perioperative nursing during orthopedic and spine procedures, under the supervision of the OR Coordinator and OR Director.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and a current Texas nursing license, with CPR and ACLS; PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas Nursing License.
• CPR and ACLS, PALS preferred.
• Minimum of two OR experiences; ortho and spine experience.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Knowledge of hospital OR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures in the OR.
• Serve as a resource to non-licensed personnel and provide guidance.
• Care for adults across the age spectrum including geriatric patients.
