Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program within 18 months of hire.
• CST certification, or grandfathered under state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation for surgical procedures.
• Sets up sterile field with instruments, drapes, and solutions.
• Maintains sterile technique and infection control.
• Assists surgeons and staff during procedures, including passing instruments and retracting sutures.
• Performs pre-procedure skin prep and post-procedure patient transfer and room cleaning.
