Stryker Group in Bloomfield, CT offers an Intern, Ortho Sales position focused on frontline medical technology exposure and customer interaction. You will shadow Sales Associates and learn sales processes while supporting field teams and operations.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's degree with strong communication and organizational skills, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment; compensation includes hourly wages, a sign-on bonus, and housing assistance options depending

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field and plan to enroll after summer.
• GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.
• U.S. permanent resident or citizen.

Responsabilités

• Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to learn branch operations.
• Prepare a project segment to develop a target account list or marketing strategy.
• Learn selling skills and instrument use with coaching from team members.
• Shadow and assist Team Members in delivering kits to accounts.
• Assist warehouse tasks: assembling and breaking down instrument kits and preparing products for surgery.
• Interact with various teams concerning products and participate in special projects.

What you need

·Currently working oncompletion of Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan to be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer

·Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (preferred)

What you will do

·Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to gain insight into all aspects of the branch; Attend and/or prepare a sales presentation

·Prepare a project segment that develops a target account list and or development of a marketing potential or strategy

·Learn selling skills, processes, and instrument use techniques by coaching/mentoring support from Sales Representatives, Sales Associates and Sales Managers

·Shadow and assist Team Member Drivers with the delivery of kits to and from account

·Assist Team Members in warehouse in assembling and breaking down instrument kits, preparing products for surgery, etc.

·Interact with various teams concerning the products

·Assist Sales and Field Operations Teams with special projects as assigned

$20 min hourly wage – $35 max hourly wage, sign-on bonus, 11 paid holidays annually, and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location
