Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Orthopedics on weekends. Full-time 36 hours/week, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinating with other departments to provide high-quality care. Qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate with an RN license in Missouri (or compact), preferred hospital experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education includes one of the listed nursing degrees.
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification required (or to be obtained within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and care team.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
