Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, and coordinate patient care in the 4 West Medical/Surgical Ortho unit. You will work with the care team to achieve positive patient outcomes and contribute to nursing initiatives.

The role features 12-hour day shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and education support.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with ADN or higher.
• Current RN license in the state or a multi-state compact license.
• AHA/Red Cross BLS Health Care Provider certification.
• At least 6 months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability for assigned patients throughout care.
• Manage patient flow, admissions, testing, and discharges.
• Maintain and review patient records with tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and plans.
• Respond to and triage incoming calls.
