Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System invites applications for an experienced Registered Nurse on the Medical/Surgical Orthopedics unit at Mount Carmel East in Columbus, OH. The unit handles total joint replacements, orthopedic trauma, neuro-spine, and general med/surg care, with RN and LPN collaboration to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other care team members.
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients, using evidence-based practice; assist with assessments, examinations and treatments.
• Administer medications under the provider’s direction, following organizational standards.

Education

RN license (OH)

Nursing degree from accredited program

BLS/CPR certification

EMR experience preferred
