Job summary

Lexington Health in West Columbia, SC is seeking an Orthopedics RN for a full-time day shift (7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.). The role uses the nursing process to promote health, collaborates with physicians, and provides patient and family education, all within Lexington Health’s mission and standards.

Requirements include ADN/ diploma or BSN and SC RN licensure. New grads considered only via Nurse Residency; prior critical care/ med-surg experience preferred. Eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in South Carolina.
• Minimum education: ADN, Diploma or BSN in Nursing.
• New graduate RNs who acquire their generic RN education via online programs will not meet minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Promote and restore patient health using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide education to patient and family about condition, medications and self-care.
