Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse Ortho to join our team. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, following established nursing models and standards.

Your duties include assessing patients, administering medications, and educating patients and families about treatment plans. This role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, and no travel.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license and active BLS certification as required within 30 days of employment.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited program.
• No travel requirement; position is on-site at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts; report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in medical records.
• Provide timely, compassionate care and respond to patient needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps.
