Ascension Seton in Austin, TX seeks a PRN RN for the Orthopedic department on day shift. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and execute physician and nursing orders.

Discharge planning and collaboration with the healthcare team are key aspects of the role. Requirements include a Diploma in Nursing or equivalent licensure at hire, and a Texas RN license with BLS within 1 month of hire.

Qualifikationen

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
