Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England in Springfield is seeking a part-time per diem Radiology Tech to operate conventional, fluoroscopic, and portable radiography equipment in outpatient settings, following physician specifications.

You will position patients, ensure radiation safety, assist with exams, educate patients and families, perform quality checks on equipment, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality images with minimal dose.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiography program.
• ARRT registered and current State license in radiography.
• Minimum of two years of clinical internship and two years of post-educational experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs general radiography with correct positioning and exposure.
• Retrieves previous films, files, answers phones, relays messages, and schedules appointments.
• Educates patients and families for understanding of care.
• Performs quality checks on equipment per department procedures to produce high-quality images with minimal radiation dose.
• Demonstrates problem solving and teamwork through clear communication.
