UChicago Medicine AdventHealth LaGrange seeks a part-time registered nurse to join the Advanced Center Joint Care team. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, administer medications, and educate families while coordinating with the medical staff.

The role requires an Associate's in Nursing with BLS, English fluency, and strong communication. Two 10-hour day shifts, focusing on safe, effective patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and BLS certification.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's preferred.
• Ability to coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and families.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans per standards.
• Administer meds and treatments safely per orders.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Document care activities and outcomes accurately in records.
• Monitor, evaluate and adjust care plans for outcomes.
• Uphold infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Supervise care provided by team members when needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and improvement.
