Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Monday-Friday, various shifts available, 8-10 hours

The community you’ll be caring for: Physical Therapy Patients

Location Address: 1053 Medical Center Drive, Suite 151, Orange City, FL 32763. Will travel to cover clinics in Lake Mary, Daytona Beach, Port Orange, DeLand, New Smyrna Beach as needed.

The role you’ll contribute: The Physical Therapy Assistant conducts physical therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Implement individualized treatment plans based on Physical Therapist evaluations, utilizing Practice Standards, recommended techniques, insurance guidelines, and patient needs. Modify treatment plans as appropriate based on ongoing assessments and consultation with the Physical Therapist.
• Collect patient data and communicate discharge recommendations to the Physical Therapist when maximum benefit has been achieved or according to standards and payer guidelines.
• Participate in practice improvements and support quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
• Maintain clinical competencies, use evidence-based practices, and serve as a clinical instructor to support professional development.
• Participate in marketing efforts to physicians and practices to build referral relationships, and support community awareness through events, educational lectures, and outreach activities as approved by management.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Basic Life Support Certification required
• Current Valid Physical Therapy Assistant or Temporary Physical Therapist Assistant License required
• Prior outpatient Orthopedic experience - PREFERRED
