The role requires teamwork in a fast-paced setting, basic handling of medications per policy, assisting with patient movement, preparing forms, delivering items to labs, and following infection prevention principles and safety standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high quality care.

Mansioni

• Acts as front line representative of the patient care area and ensures it is stocked and ready.
• Orders, restocks, and monitors supplies and notes outdates to maintain readiness.
• Cleans and maintains patient rooms and work areas; keeps hallways clear and safe.
• Performs basic disinfection and follows infection prevention principles.
• Conducts quality checks of point of care testing machines and monitors equipment.
• Checks emergency stations and records medication refrigerator temperatures when appropriate.
• Assists with patient movement, escorts patients, and helps with wheelchairs as needed.
• Answers calls, prepares patient forms with demographics, and assists in lab specimen transport.
• Supports admissions, room setup, and discharge readiness; assists with personal care tasks as required.
