Job summary

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital in Arizona is seeking a motivated PRN Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, you will scrub for procedures, prepare supplies, and support quality improvement activities within a fast-paced Orthopedics-focused environment.

Experience in ambulatory surgical centers is preferred; must have strong aseptic technique knowledge and exceptional teamwork to communicate with staff, patients, and physicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a surgical technician program or 2+ years of surgical technician experience.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff, patients and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures under the Director of Nursing.
• Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment.
• Supports the Surgery Center's goals and quality improvement activities.
• Experienced in supporting orthopedic procedures.
