Job summary

Mountain View Surgery Center of Scottsdale is seeking a Surgical Technician PRN to join our multispecialty ambulatory center. The Surgical Technologist will scrub for procedures, maintain a sterile field, and prepare supplies and equipment as part of the surgical team.

Ideal candidates have a Surgical Technician Program credential or equivalent, with knowledge of aseptic techniques and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of Surgical Technician Program or equivalent.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures as a member of the team.
• Maintains a sterile field during procedures.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Supports quality improvement activities and center objectives.
