Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, seeks an experienced registered nurse for the Orthopedics/Neuroscience unit. This fast-paced 40-bed unit uses enhanced recovery principles to move patients home quickly.

You will plan, deliver and document nursing care, coordinate with the team, and support performance improvement. BSN and NC RN licensure with BLS are required, plus 12 months of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited BSN program.
• Must hold current RN licensure in North Carolina and BLS.
• Twelve months of clinical nursing experience in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide and document professional nursing care per orders and policies.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to support patient baseline needs.
• Provide leadership as charge nurse and contribute to performance improvement.
