Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Registered Nurse: AR license required upon hire
• CPR certification within 30 days
• ACLS certification within 12 months
• Minimum 6 months acute care experience (residency for new grads)

Responsibilities

• Comfort patients nervous or confused after surgery to help them feel safe and relaxed
• Manage fast-paced workflow across a 30-bed unit with attention to patient details
• Ensure patients have necessary medications for postoperative pain
• Inform families and patients about home care and hospital stay
• Collaborate with a nurse team focused on patient well-being
