Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (or compact license) and BLS certification.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience in orthopedics or neurosurgery units is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and direct daily unit operations under the director’s guidance.
• Determine and direct staffing needs per shift and maintain patient ratios.
• Facilitate continuity of care and communication across departments and facilities.
