Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist adult patients in orthopedics/surgical unit with conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, obesity, spinal disorders and fractures.
• Assess and participate in interdisciplinary care planning with documentation.
• Supervise LPNs and other support staff as described by Nebraska Statute 38.
• Document patient care according to Bryan Medical Center procedures.
• Educate patients and families to meet identified needs.
• Facilitate transitions to the next level of care.
• Engage in continued learning and self-development within the unit.
