Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and ensure clinical areas are ready for patients and providers.
• Welcome and room patients, obtain vital signs, and document relevant medical history and information.
• Support physicians and clinical team members with patient care throughout the visit.
• Educate patients on orthopedic care, including cast care and appliance use.
• Enter physician-directed orders for services such as X-rays and physical therapy.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, post-operative visits, diagnostic studies, and other patient care needs.
• Assist with surgery scheduling, including coordinating pre-operative testing and therapy.
• Help manage patient flow to support an efficient and positive experience for patients and providers.
• Respond to patient calls, triage questions and concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked exam, treatment, and bracing rooms.
• Follow safety procedures for handling and disposal of sharps and biohazardous materials.
• Partner with the broader clinical team to support an exceptional patient experience.
