Job summary

Mount Carmel New Albany in Ohio is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for night shifts (12-hour). The RN will deliver care across a Medical-Surgical Ortho unit with a patient-centered approach, guided by the Nursing Process and Mount Carmel policies. Orientation is tailored to experience level.

The role emphasizes assessing patients, assisting with procedures, medication administration, education, and accurate documentation. Ohio RN licensure and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care with delegation.
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients.
• Assist providers with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.
• Perform basic medical procedures under supervision.
• Administer medications per standards and guidelines.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and diagnoses.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately.
