Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• 1 year of Medical Surgical experience preferred; minimum 6 months of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and document care in the medical record; monitor response and manage adverse events.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the condition, plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up; translate complex medical terms as needed.
