• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the patient in the achievement of identified goals by carrying out the prescribed plan of care.
• Demonstrates patient advocacy by assuring a patient's right to privacy, safety and confidentiality.
• Maintains current knowledge and skills by participating in relevant educational and training programs.
• Ability to flexibly respond to changing demands.
• Pre-visit preparations and handling of required paperwork, tests and referrals.
• Infection control, setup and restocking of exam/procedure rooms; instrument care.
• Administers injections, venipunctures, and basic lab procedures including CLIA-waived testing.
• Monitor supplies and coordinate with departments for testing and equipment.
